How My TNG Reports are Named

Every report has a short name (length 6 characters) – because it's easier having short names if talking about a certain report, and for grouping/sorting the reports.

Report names may be changed (but I try to avoid such changes). Each report name should be unique (if not, I did a mistake).

• RB.... = reports about branches
  • RBF... = reports about about families associated with branches
  • RBP... = reports about about people associated with branches
• RC.... = reports about cemeteries
• RF.... = reports about families
  • RFnnnn = general reports about families (nnnn are numbers)
  • RFC... = reports about families: reports about children
  • RFM... = reports about families: reports about marriages
  • RFN... = reports about families: reports about names (wife/husband)
  • RFP... = reports about families: reports about parents
  • RFT... = reports about families: reports about marriage types
• RH.... = reports about headstones
• RL.... = reports about locations (general)
• RM.... = reports about media (photos, documents, texts, audio/video)
• RN.... = reports about notes
  • RNnnnn = general reports about notes (nnnn are numbers)
  • RNF... = reports about notes associated with families
  • RNP... = reports about notes associated with people
• RP.... = reports about people
  • RPnnnn = general reports about people (nnnn are numbers)
  • RPA... = reports about people's age
  • RPB... = reports about people's birth, birthdate-related reports
  • RPC... = reports on associations between peoples
  • RPD... = reports about people's death, deathdate-related reports
  • RPE... = reports about events associated with people – except marriage/familiy, birth, baptism, death, burial
    • RPEA.. = reports on alias names
    • RPEE.. = reports on events (general)
    • RPEE.. = reports on event locations (general)
    • RPEM.. = reports on military service or migration
    • RPEO.. = reports on occupations
    • RPEP.. = reports on residences (places)
    • RPER.. = reports on religions
  • RPL... = reports on people's locations (general)
  • RPN... = reports about people's names
  • RPS... = reports about people's sex
  • RPT... = reports about people's titles
• RR.... = reports about reports (view the SQL statements working behind the stage)
  • RRnnnn = get SQL report definitions, see report description (nnnn are numbers)
  • RRB... = get report definitions of RB.... reports (see above)
  • RRF... = get report definitions of RF.... reports (see above)
  • RRH... = get report definitions of RH.... reports (see above)

PS: I hope the day is coming where we get something like menus for TNG's reports (similar to the media albums) – the whole report collection could by more clearly arranged...
